My work combines precious metals, metal clay, polymer clay, stones, glass, or whatever objects catch my eye. My designs are contemporary, combining both organic and geometric forms. I consider each one of my pieces a little work of fine art. I like making pieces that are different and unique, but still very wearable and functional. I started creating jewelry in college, at The Maryland Institute College of Art. My work won scholarships and awards throughout college. It has also won numerous prestigious awards including NICHE Awards, being a top 5 finalist 3 times in the International Saul Bell Jewelry Design competition. My work also had been published in numerous books and magazines. I use many different techniques to create my work. I also use mixed media in functional utilitarian items and just fun little pieces of art. I strive always to improve my designs, skills and to make work that is creative, fun, and unique.
